Here’s what we’re offering…

We want you to grab your best friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or whoever you like and team up to book your portrait sessions.  We’ll have a full 2 hour session where we shoot each of you individually and together.  This actually will make it easier for you all to get more pictures because while one person is changing, the other is on camera.  We’ve found these sessions have way less down time and actually, are way more fun.

Once we’ve completed that 2 hour session you each will receive an online gallery to share with family and friends, this will include your individual shots along with your combined poses. You will each receive $100 in credit to use towards purchasing prints, as well as 5 Facebook images. You will also receive an online slideshow for each of you, as well as a a combined slideshow.

With so many Seniors booking their sessions for August and September, we’re encouraging our wonderful clients (and potential clients) to get ahead of the rush and guarantee an opening. Due to weddings and previously booked events, we anticipate a very busy season going from late summer to early fall and don’t want anyone to miss out.

Senior portrait sessions are generally a blast, but when I get told we’re going to bring in a motorcycle, a truck, and a barn…well, how can you not be excited about that? Plus I was provided not 1, but 2 assistants!

Huh?

Rock Star Status has become that phrase we throw around for those things that are cooler than cool, drip awesomeness, and really takes itself to another level.  With our Seniors in particular, we find that trying to get that Rock Star feel to a series of images really puts them into a whole new degree of happy.

Sure, most mom’s want those sweet smiling poses…and we deliver that too, but for that high school senior that wants to feel like he/she is living in a magazine spread, well, Rock Star Status is what we’re looking to achieve.

Occasionally, we will be blogging different things that fall into that classification.  This week, I’ve got to start out with The Beastie Boys new album Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.

In a world where we’re about to see what happens to aging hip hop artists, in the same way that our parents saw Elvis get fat and die on a toilet, we’re living with legends and icons who are well past their “party in the club” prime.

What this album shows me is that The Beastie’s are ageless.

When they are looking to just have fun with their music, they’re nearly untouchable and this album is that.  I knew when I saw the teaser for their 1st video that this album was going to get interesting. They threw back to the punk rock vibe that they brought into the hip hop scene early in the game and brought in nearly every actor I can name. I was waiting for Pacino to walk on camera at one point.

I can honestly say that this is the 1st album in a while that I’ve let run all the way threw 2 times in a row while I’m editing photos. That says A LOT.

I keep bouncing around to my favorite tracks, but I’m really digging Too Many Rappers with Nas, Ok, and Here’s a little something for ya.
